The NAL Spring
Social occurred on May 14. This featured a talk but General
Joe Engle. Joe who is a former astronaut who flew two ALT flights on
the Shuttle and then two Shuttle missions as Commander.
We are working to schedule the
third panel at JSC with the general
workforce. The first one done in support with the JSC Knowledge Manager
(Jean Engle) was a huge success. There was standing room only in the
meeting room. We will reschedule the next meeting in July or
August.
A repeat of propulsion panel will occur in late summer as
well.
The NAL is
beginning a lending library of aerospace books that have been
contributed by members. These books span the age of all our
programs - Mercury to today. These books are stored at
Tietronix Software on Gemini Ave.
Check here to see the current list
of books. You will also see how to check out a book. Normal
checkout time is two weeks.
If you have other space
related technical books that are still sitting on your shelves and
no one wants them, the NAL Library does. Call Frank Hughes to
see if you can take a tax deduction from your contribution.
We need your
email address.
You can send it
to fhughes@tietronix.com
